John Barnabus was the youngest son of the marriage of John
Richardson and Agnes Lowe. Agnes died shortly after this birth.
Elizabeth Presley, whom John Richardson later married, was the
nurse to Agnes before her death. In 1862, John Barnabas
Gililland moved his family to Henderson, Texas.
