John Richard GILILLAND (son of Mathias R. GILILLAND and Catey HENDRICKS)²²² was born January 18, 1820 in Kentucky, and died September 17, 1865 in Grayson County, Texas. He married Mary Catherine IVES on July 03, 1842 in Lincoln County, Missouri^{223, 224}.

Notes for John Richard GILILLAND:
7/28/2001: John R. was previously listed as a son of John
Richardson. Comparing the recently recovered wills of John
Richardson and his brother Robert reveals that Robert had a son
John R., but John Richardson did not. However, there was a John
R. listed as the son of Mathias, who married Mary Ives. It is
likely that these are the same person and the link to John
Richardson was in error. Therefore, this John R. has been moved
to Mathias.
