Notes for Cynthia GILILLAND: Reported to be buried in the Gililland family cemetery, Millwood, MO Cynthia is probably NOT the son of John and Elizabeth, as proposed by Dwight C. Stewart. William Lowe Gililland would be her half-brother. However, the probate record of William L Gililland lists every known child of John and Elizabeth except a Cynthia who would have been 11 at the time of probate. To further confuse matters, the 1850 census of Lincoln County lists Cynthia, age 9, living in the household of John and Elizabeth Gililland.
