| I am researching the LASHLEE/LASHLEY family. All of them, everywhere! Especially the descendants of Lewis Lashley, Sr. and his wife Mary (HOLLAND). Lewis was born about 1785 in Surry Co. VA and died Nov. 1815 in Wake Co. NC. Their children were: (1) Edmund (served in Rev.War, married Delilah OLIVE-moved to Georgia. (2) Sarah, married Burwell UTLEY (3) Brittain, (4) Burwell marr. Elizabeth OLIVE then Mary Polly SARRATT, (5) Lewis, jr died 1844 (6) William, marr. Elizabeth JOHNSON, (7) Abner, (8) Rial, married Patsy NUTT.Burwell and Mary Sarratt are my ancestors, but I am also especially interested in Edmund's descendants. I can prove 2 of his children: Elijah and Sarah. He had a grandaughter named Delilah GRACE.Other surnames of interest are: ADAMS (IL>MO), ALBRIGHT (IL>MO), CAPPS (TN), FORBUSH (IL), GILLEY (FRANCE>LA), WEATHERS (AL>MS>OK) |
