Find Family

I think of my family search in terms of trees, bare, and putting on leaves. At time the leaves are so still you don't see or hear them. A soft breeze floats theom on a journey, showers beat them to the ground or a gale wind sends the off to a distant land to start again.
They gave birth, fell in love, marry, raise children. Some die tragic deaths, some for their beliefs of religion or country. Others die of old age or disease. Whatever their fate, new trees sprout and leaves are on the move again.
Some were landowners, farmers, doctors, lawyers, labors in mills and some worked the railroad. Some were leaders, elders of their church and some were followers. One remarkable thing I found in all writtings they were all sober, honest, high minded , industrous and religious people.
Whatever their decent whether rich poor famous or ordinary they were my family. I will continue to search for all the leaves and pray that when I leave this earth some one will care enough to search for me .
