| My name is Rick Gillespie and in 1988 I was able to find out a considerable amount of information about my families geneology which quite impressed my family. Now in 1998 with all the advances in the latest computer technology and the internet I want to share and collect more information. My goal is to make this a ongoing project for the rest of my life, that is to continue and collect information from my families past and to share this information with others. To communicate with others so that we may all help one another in the quest of gathering the information of our ancestors. Bring the past to life. The main surnames that I am researching at present are as follows: Gillespie: William Gillespie born in 1670? in Falkirk, Stirling, Scotland. Married Mary Cullons who was born 1674? This is as far as I have been able to go. Binning: I relative of mine Rhea Sahler from Wyoming has been working on this line for years. She still is on a quest to prove that George Binning is Jeffery Binning's father. Jeff Binning b. 1800 in England married to Joan b. 1805 also in England. Wheelock: Ancestors of Hugh Wheelock from England around 1485. Failing: Morris Failing born on Sept 26th, 1829 in PA, USA. Morris married Minerva Hout on Sept 20th 1849 and died on Nov. 1892 in Cadillac, Wexford, Michigan, USA Would like to find out father and Mothers name of Morris Failing. This is my most interested find. I have enough military and pension records regarding Morris Failing that I feel compelled to write a short history on this person. (Sir Knight)Robert Howard born in 1385 in England and Joan De Cornwall born about 1285 and her farther Richard De John Cornwall. Main goal here is to prove that the information is correct. I have traced this family all the way back to myself. |
