Mother, Geraldine Lewis born Havre,MT 1930 daughter to Archie M
Lewis, born Osseo, WI c1900 son of GG Lewis born Osseo Norway
son of Gudebrand Norstebon Norway. GG Lewis wife was Sophia,
daughter to Mary and John Johnson of Wisconsin, born in Norway.
From immigration from Norway to WI. John and Marys son Willy
homesteaded in Cottonwood, MT. just north of Havre, MT in early
1900's. GG attempted homesteading as well later and eventually
son Archie went to Coram, MT with Cottonwood bride Blanche
Buzzell to work on WPA project in Glacier Natl Park. The couple
fell in love with the small Rocky mountain town.
Archie and Blanches daughter met William Gillespie and thats
where I come in.
