Sissy's Gallaher and Freeman Puzzle

This is my page devoted to the research of my family's ancestors and their's before them.
On my father's side I've gone back as far as William H. Gallaher and his family in Salem, Salem Co., NJ, USA. There are still pieces missing, but I like a good puzzle challenge.
On my mother's side I've gone back as far as Henry Boyd Freeman and his family in Purvis, Lamar Co., MS, USA. His parents' names are William H. Freeman and Amelia Thornton. Henry Boyd was born near Augusta, Georgia and then his family moved to Mississippi when he was a small boy of about two.
Since I've been using the computer and internet I have found some new cousins and lots of info. I started out before the computer and internet could help you find the info you were looking for. They have have made the research a little easier. Especially since more and more of the data and documents one needs to put a piece of the their puzzle together becomes available on the internet. With that in mind this is still a work in progress and will be until the first in our line is found on both sides of the family. If any one visiting my page finds that they belong to my very extended family please feel free to contact me and we'll compare notes. Who knows we just might be cousins!
