I am researching the following families: Gilliland/Baysinger families of IN, KY 1790-1900. Looking for parents, siblings of Adam Gilliland b. 1814 who married Meade Co., KY Sallie Barnes b. ca 1825 KY. Swafford/Swofford TN,KY,IL,MO,KS 1790 to present. James Riley Swafford b. ca 1824 TN d. ca 1899 AR, married ca 1845 Dorcas (Adracis) Spears b. ca 1824, Monroe Co., KY d. ca 1855 prob. KY. His father Hiram Swofford. Wm. Johnson (Bud) Burks b.1858 N.VA d. Feb. 1925 MO, mar Sinella (Ellen) Decker b. ca 1860 Sweetsburg(?), MO, d.1923 Arroll,MO. They were parents of Evaline Burks b 1885, d.1918 mar 1904 Manuel Monroe Swafford b. 1880 Texas Co., MO d. April 1956 Crawford Co., KS. Harrison/Williams of PA, OH, IL, IA 1820-1900. Looking for info on George Harrison b. ca 1820 prob. NY m. IL Jane Moore b. ca 1820, IL. Child: Walter (W.M.) Cannot find parents of Walter (W.M.) Harrison b. 1848 IL, anywhere. The only reference I have to them is on Walter's death certificate and an IA State Census listing them as parents. Walter married Isabelle Williams 1879 in IL. Moates family of Washington Co., MD. 1800-1890. Jacob Moates b. 1813 Md., d 1892 Como, IL mar 1837 Catherine Peach/Leach/Veach/Teach b.1811 MD, d. 1891 Como, IL. They had 7 known children; 3 were born in OH. My ancestor, Victor Moates, was b. MD 1845 d. 1925 mar 1873 Vermillion Chamberlain b. 1857 WI., d. 1938. Both died Carroll, IA.
