The lost tribe of Gilberts in Florida

We're searching for ancestors of an adopted Grandfather of mine, Livingston Stanley Gilbert. His adoptive father was Gilbert, but
his natural father's name was Loucks (sp) from Indiana. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Grandpa's app. date of birth was 1898.
You will also find a great deal of information on my wife's family (Mercer) going back to 1612 in England. We have many blanks to fill in on that side of the family, also.
My mother's side of the family (Warner and Krebs) is fairly well documented on paper, but I'm researching for web-based content.
If you run across anything from these two families from Central Pennsylvania in the 1700's, please let me know. In the meantime, my plan is to convert the paper records and post them on this site. Happy Hunting!
