The Sarah E Gindorf Family Home Page

My name is Cynthia Ann Gindorf, and Sarah is my daughter. I am doing this research for her, mainly, though I and my immediate family are finding it all very interesting.
I am researching the names Gindorf, Lindemann, Stolle, and Wilke from my father's side. As you can see from the names, we hail originally from Germany, at least for sure on the Gindorf side. I know for a fact that there are still Gindorfs in Germany, but we have yet to establish a connection. My main focus is Stephen Gindorf in Texas, from the mid 1800's back.

On my mother's side, we have the names Schneider, Kurecka', Drozda, and Hallas. Most of this side of the family came from Czechoslovakia, or as my grandmother says it was called, Moravia. On this side, the Kurecka' name is giving me the most trouble.
