This is my Family of New Mexico and Colorado. My fathers family was from NM and he was born in Springer, NM in 1916. His parents and siblings left there about 1924. They migrated to Colorado and ended up in Denver, CO. In 1943 we moved to California and have lived there ever since.
My mothers ancestors came from NM but have been in Colorado since it was admitted as a state. She was born in 1922, in the small camp of Serene, CO.
I am proud of my heritage and have been working on my family history for the past 4 years. I have had a tremendous amount of help from members of 4 Genealogy Societies:
