Hello to all those seeking Genealogical Knowledge. I hope that I can help you! However, as you know by now, Genealogy is a two-way street! So as I am helping you, you are helping me too! But I'll get to that later! :) I wanted to stop after I reached 100 individuals in my family tree. However, this endeavor is so addicting that I only stopped after I was accepted to medical school (in 1996), at over 1300 individuals in my family tree. In 2002, I had well over 2600. I know that this might not be as much as some others out there, but when I have amassed more than twenty times the amount I thought I was going to have, well, that just blows my mind! The most wonderful part of this is that it took me a short time to do it. The computer and FTM just makes it SO easy, I'm sure you'll agree! I have even bought a scanner and have scanned in many important documents, such as birth certificates, death certificates and marriage licenses. There are about 300 pictures, and voices of some people in my immediate family. I'm always looking for more! Some of the surnames I am researching are: Allred, Balder, Engstrom, Entwistle, Girard, Highfield, Hogfeldt, Larson, Leonartsson, Lindquist, Mason, Nilsson, Paligraf, Polender, Strandin, Strendin, Turner, and Wallace. There are others, but these are the ones which I have more info on, and in general, these names are less common. I have many Andersons, Johnsons, Krafts, even a couple Jones and Smiths... I hope that this will help you, and in the end, it will help me too. Accuracy is of the utmost importance to me. If you find ANY of my information in question, even the SMALLEST detail, please tell me... I want this to be a hyper-accurate resource for future generations. This project has been created to honor my mother who passed away from breast cancer some time ago. I miss her... I hope that this endeavor will pay homage to her memory.
