I am searching for the dates and birthplace of my great-grandmother Myrtle Missouri (Pettigrew) Claxton,birthdate of November 26, 1899 in Kaufman,Texas. She married James Oscar Claxton, date unknown. James bithdate is June 17, 1897 in Salem, Arkansas. Their children are: Paul(my grandfather), Pauline, Ralph. I was told that she was full blooded Cherokee. Her parents names are John Jackson and Doshia Delilah Sikes Pettigrew.Myrtle was born in Texas in 1899.
I don't know the names of her brothers and sisters.
If anyone knows any information I would be very appreciative.
