| Since 1966, the Moody Family has gathered for an annual family reunion on the third weekend of July. The 2001 family reunion site is targeted for Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Our family members are descendants of John Oscar Moody, Sr. and Susannah, who represent our first (documented) generation, and John Oscar Moody, Jr. and Amanda Golphin who represent our second (documented) generation. The family would appreciate any additional information that anyone can offer to track the ancestors of John Sr., John Jr., Amanda and Susannah. Recent family news: Terrence Trammell, a sixth generation Moody, won the Olympic Silver Medal for the United States in the Sydney, Australia 2000 games competing in the Men's 110 Hurdles.
