| This is the results of years of research, going to Libraries, traveling, and my grandmother's family bible contributed to this work. Interviewing family members was the best part. I hope in some small way this will help others who are starting their journey into the past. This is a tribute to my little grandmother,Emma Smith, who at 4' 8" tall and weighted 98lbs, she lived to be 101 yrs. and 8 mos. I would like to hear from anyone with information on her parents, John Calvin Smith and Eugenia Caroline Thompson, married 11/6/1884 in Simpson County, MS. They lived in Wayne County, MS till 1918, then sold the land to his son William E. Smith and moved to Bogalusa, Washington Parish, LA. Buried at Emanuel Church Cem. Happy Hunting! |
