| I am researching the GLAS(S)COCK family in the United States that descended from the Glascocks of Essex in England as chronicaled by Lawrence A. Glassco's in his two published books: "THE GLAS(S)COCK-GLASSCO SAGA" and "THE GLAS(S)COCKS OF ENGLAND AND AMERICA". In particular, I am trying to tie back from Jacob West (bn 3 Mar 1849 in TN) to Scarlet M.(Madden?) (bn abt 1808 in TN?) and then back to Peter(5) Jr. married to Elizabeth Madden. Elizabeth was the daughter of Scarlett Madden and Margaret Orear. Scarlet M. was married to Jane Trosper in 15 Sep 1838 and to Nancy Long in 7 Mar 1842. They had four(?) children one of which was Jacob West. Peter(5), Jr. and Elizabeth Madden had six children according to the "SAGA": George, Charnal, Peter, Fielding, Scarlet, James, and William. My current problem is the tie in from Scarlet M. (abt 1808) to one of the children of Peter(5), Jr.Additional names that will be researched are: Jones, Dock, O'Daniel, Hardy, et al.Any assistance that can be given will be most appreciated. Will share information I have. |
