Susannah Pogue (daughter of John Pogue and Nancy Wiley) was born Abt. 1781, and died Abt. 1860 in Newton County, MO.
Notes for Susannah Pogue: Susannah never married staying at home with her mother Nancy until her death in 1840. It is believed she came to Missouri with her brothers and is possibly buried in Washington County, Arkansas. She was the one in the family who always had some money stashed away and she would loan them money when they were in a bind for a little cash. It was never large amounts, but it was kind o like an ace in the hole if one really needed some money in an emergency. Money was extremely scarce in tose days and was always a problem.
