Alexander Stephens came from England and settled at the mouth of the Juaniata River on the east side of the Susquehanna River in PA in 1746. He purchased 200 acres from the state of PA in Dauphin County. The state survey records the yea as 1737, but land records say 1746. The faarmlies just north of Harrisburg, PA. Do not know the wifes name, Ther son William was born 1746. Believe other sons were Amos, Benjamin and others. Record of Alexanders death date can probably be found in Dauphin County, PA.
