I am researching the Lucas and Griffith families from the Philipsburg/Runville area of Centre County, Pennsylvania. Thomas Lucas, born in 1650 in England, sailed with his wife, Dorothy, in 1688 from Little Saxham in Suffolk, England aboard the ship, "Providence" of Falmouth with William Prescott, Master. I know very little of the Griffith side of the family. I can only go back as far as my great-grandfather, Thomas Edward Griffith who was from that region. He was born on January 20, 1874 and died September 20, 1941. I have been told that he may have been an adopted orphan. He had a sister, Margaret Griffith, for whom I have no dates.
I am also researching the Amberman and Ziegler families of the Manhattan/Jamaica/Springfield Gardens area of New York. Benjamin Coleman Amberman was born on Oct. 30, 1838 and died Nov. 21, 1917. He married Harriet Abrams for whom I do not have any dates. They had four children:

Clarence Coleman Amberman DOB = Sept. 29, 1890
DOD = Sept. 05, 1949

Benjamin Dykers Amberman DOB = July 23, 1911

George Amberman - No Dates

Grace Elizabeth Amberman - No Dates

ANY INFORMATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!! I am certainly willing to share the information I have gathered.
