| I'm a novice at genealogical research, but am very enthusiastic about learning more. I am attempting to research my lineage, which includes the following surnames (to my knowledge, at this point): Glasbrenner Hagmann Eberle Vogt Byrne Wilkinson Spangler The Glasbrenner-Hagmann-Eberle-Vogt lineage derives from the Pforzheim area of Germany. The Glasbrenners emigrated to New York in the 1930s, ultimately spreading to Philadelphia, PA, Lorain, OH, Long Island, NY, Miami, FL, and Roswell, NM. The Byrne lineage hails from Ireland. They are now in New York, Florida, North Carolina, and Connecticut. Wilkinson and Spangler are on my wife's side of the family, and I don't have much more knowledge of them than that at this time. If anyone has any information about my ancestors that might help me in my research, I would surely appreciate receiving it at my email or snail mail address! |
