| Edward Glen(n)on married Mary Murr(a)y circa 1837 in Ballybay (Kiltoom & Cam) near Athlone, Co. Roscommon. They had seven children. James married Catherine Brooks 6/5/1868 and established a farm in Castlesampson, Taughmaconnell, Co. Roscommon. Ellen emigrated to Boston and married Andrew Lenehan in 1895. Patrick emigrated as well, and died a bachelor in Boston in 1931. John emigrated to Stockport, England, and married Ellen Keathly in 1864. They had four children: Mary, b. abt.1868; Ann, b. abt 1870; Elizabeth, b. abt. 1873; and Edward, b. abt. 1877. There is no information on three other children-Mary, Hugh and Alicia. James had six children. Sons Thomas, Edmund (Edward), John, and a daughter Mariah emigrated to Boston, MA. Mariah married Patrick Henry in MA., and later returned to Drumlosh, near Athlone. William remained on the farm in Taughmaconnell, and Eleanora married Thomas Gately and lived in Derrycahill, Co. Roscommon. |
