Notes for Timothy Slevin: In the Census of Ireland, 1901, townland Tombricane, Timothy Slevin was recorded as son of Head of the Family, Roman Catholic, being able to Read and Write, age 19, a farmers son, not married and born in Co. Tipperary. Timothy Slevin is buried in Cullenwaine in the left hand side near corner. This corner is all Slevin graves, all unmarked expect for Timothy's. This Timothy is not listed on his head stone it reads as follows about an earlier Timothy; Erected by Darby in loving memory of his father Timothy Slevin late of 'Ballmohane' (Borrisokane?) who departed this life Feb 5 1825 aged 60 may he rest in peace (this was difficult to read and may be wrong in the place name and the date). The plot was covered with a concrete slab by Mick, Jimmy and Jackie. A wrought iron cross has also been erected which reads; Slevin 1988.
