Ransom Glover was born 1767 in NC, The will of Joseph Glover1784 lists Ransom as a grandson. Ransom was receiving the share of a deceased father, Neal Glover. (from Glovers of Marengo Co., AL by Sara E. Mason). & Granville WB 1, pg 469. In Granville Co., NC Nov. 1792, Ransom married Mary Barnett, daughter of Thomas and Sara Crosha Barnett. (NC Marr. Rec) &(Thos. Barnett 1779 NC will # 273) He was on Granville Co., NC tax rolls through 1813--was on 1820 and 1830 census of Giles Co., TN--appeared on 1840 census of Lawrence Co., TN, where he died in the county poor house in 1859. Ransom and Mary (Barnett) Glover had 15 children as best I can tellfrom census figures----6 boys and 9 girls. CHILDREN: SARAH; b. 1813 NC, never left home until after her parents died, except for stint in poor house along with her mother. WILLIAM; b. 1797 NC. was my gr gr grandfather. Married 2nd, Delilah Melton 1848 in Lawrence Co., TN. They moved to Stoddard Co.MO. about 1854. JESSE B.; b. abt 1800 apparently lived for awhile in Limestone Co.AL , then back to Lawrence Co., TN. JOHN; b. 1806 m. Susan Lumpkins 1832, Lawrence Co. TN, then to Stoddard Co., MO early 1860s. Who are Ransom & Mary's other children?
JOHN LEE BRICK WALL Trying to find/establish connection between my GGG grandfather John Lee, born 1810-1820 (was living in Stoddard Co., MO in 1840), and the family of Charles & Abigail Crafford Lee, whose children were born in Hardin Co., KY, late 1700s.
I believe my John Lee(1810-1820) was son of John Lee who died intestate 16 March, 1837 in New Madrid Co., MO. Administator was Jeremiah Lee. (New Madrid Co., MO Probate Record #86 & 87.)
Seven(7) of these Stoddard and New Madrid Co. Lees had the same given names as those found in the family of Charles & Abigail Lee of Hardin Co., KY. Namely: ABIGAIL, NANCY, JOHN, THOMAS, REBECCA, ELIZABETH, MARY.
Too many same names to be a coincidence. Have been looking for a long, long time. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

AZEL VICKERY (ABT 1785-1843) BRICK WALL--HIS PARENTS?
Who are the parents of my GGG grandfather Azel Vickery(b 1780-1790)???????
Below is Azel's ancestry tree as I believe it to be. It is not to be copied or distributed, but for speculation and future family research possibilities.
1 Marmaduke Vickery 1715-1787 m Elizabeth Nation. Lived Randolph Co., NC 2 John Vickery abt 1741-1832 m Bethiah. Lived Randolph,NC 3 Marmaduke Vickery abt 1766-1832 m Pethah 4 Azel Vickery abt 1785-1843 b. NC
I believe that most or all of Marmaduke II's sons moved from NC to middle TN. I think that Azel was one of those sons. And also there is this feeling that John and Richard Vickery, both found on 1820 Bedford Co., TN census were Azel's brothers. Azel was on 1830 census of Williamson Co. TN, close by Bedford Co. While Azel hasn't been found on Bedford Co. census, he was there, according to his daughter Alcy, who stated on a deposition for Mexican War pension that she was born there. P.S: Ages of all the above fall within family range!!
These thoughts: 1 Azel named 1st son Marmaduke, probably after Azel's father!! 2 Azel named 1st daughter Bethiah, likely after his mother!! 3 Azel name sons Richard and John--- could be after his brothers!! 4 Azel did not name a son after himself--all of his children are accounted for using census, pension, deeds & other records. 5 Azel named a son Levi and there was another Levi Vickery living in nearby Lincoln Co., TN in 1840. Maybe another possibility?? 6 Azel named a daughter Alsy or Alcy, surely after himself!!
Azel and his family moved from Tennessee (probably Williamson Co.) to Marion Co., IL before 1837, when probate records find them there.
