I am researching the Glover family that lived on the North Fork of Long Island. We believe it began when Lt. Samuel Glover and his father, Capt. Charles Glover, arrived in Southold, Long Island from Salem, MA in the mid 1600s. I have several missing pieces from the early/mid 1700s to the mid 1800s.
There may also be a link to General John Glover who fought in the Revolution and took George Washington accros the Delaware River.

Any information you have would be greatly appreciated. I would be happy to share what I have.
