Recent research in Norway and Sweden have turned up links to the family still living in Norway. In addition, I was able to visit the farm where my grandfather (Iver C. Moen) and his siblings grew up and the church where Iver and his siblings were baptized and confirmed. At this point, the Moen side of the family is nearly complete. The only thing lacking is information about my maternal great grandmother, esp. her maiden name and place of birth. On the Gnadt side, I am lacking information about the ship and port of entry for Karl and Johanna Gnadt, emigrated 1874 from Germany.
