The search for "Goad" family information has led me to Tompkinsville, KY.. There are a lot of my relatives lived in Tompkinsville. My grandfather (George David Goad)ran a grocery store in Tompkinsville, KY., prior to his death in the 1950's. My research has taken me, (with accuracy) back to my G/Greatgrandfather. After this point, I get conflicting information. My G/Greatgrandfather was Luke Goad, called "Lukie",. Lukie was a wiry, happy go lucky guy. I would be interested in learning more about him, if anyone should know more details. I would be glad to share information with interested family researchers.
