Thomas was my great-great-grandfather and lived mainly in Wayne Co., NC. He grew up there and in Johnston Co., and Wilson Co., NC, and lived in Randolph Co., NC during the early years of his marriage to Dicena Newlin, a native of Randolph. At least 75% of his immediate ancestors (except the Bradburys on his paternal grandmother's side) were of Quaker background, and he was descended from Quaker settlers of North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.
