| Most of this data was collected 20-30 years ago. Although much of it is correct there may be some information missing. With many of my grandparents' siblings and cousins deceased it is sometimes very difficult to verify the stories they recited 20 years ago. I have provided this home page for all those family members who are researching our family history. Why dublicate work? Unless you enjoy the hunt! Any and all inquiries are welcome. I have started working on my son's heritage and have been finding many road blocks with the Godsey family more-recent-history. My son's great-grandfather, James Arthur Godsey, died in a domestic dispute on April 9, 1960, he was 30 years old. I am finding that the family of James Arthur Godsey will not respond to my inquiries on family history. Any information on the family history of James Arthur Godsey would be greatly appreciated. |
