Find Family

I have been searching my family tree for many years. The Rogers that I am focusing on are my mother's paternal side. She descends from John Rogers, who came to the new country in the spring of 1635 aboard the ship called 'George'. With him came his younger brother, Thomas. They had set sail from Gravesend, England on their journey to Jamestowne, Virginia. Both of their parents were of Welsch descent, and they were listed as 'persons of quality' on the ship's manifest.
This family is very well documented for most of the earlier generations, but I would like to focus on that part of the family that went to DeKalb County, Alabama from Warren County, Tennessee in the early 1800's. This is when the documentation becomes almost non-existant other than census, land, and marriage records.
The first from this family to go Alabama were Reece Rogers and his wife Mary Lockhart. And this is about some of their family! Enjoy.
