* The David L Gonsalves Family (Canada)*

Updated July 6, 2008

I am researching the Gonsalves ( Goncalves) family. My great grandfather first appeared in St. Vincent in the West Indies somewhere in the 1850's. He was born in Madeira; his wife was Louisa Ollivierra, and they had three sons, Emanuel Alphonso, Joseph, and John, along with four daughters, Rose, Ada, Gertrude & Christina. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information I have.

Many will walk in and out of our lives, but few will leave a lasting memory, her constant smile and kindness towards others are a few of the wonderful things about her, and even though our lives may have taken us down diffrent paths,I will forever be grateful that ours crossed.
