  The "Bailey" Family Tree, is an extension of MY "Lusk" Family tree. The Bailey Sisters (Chloe & Sara)(m)(David Lusk & Samuel Lusk Jr.) sons of Samuel Lusk Sr.(m)Susannah Stephenson abt. 1770,August Co.Virginia. I felt the Bailey, side of our ancestry, is just as important as the Lusk side. These 2 Sisters would be my 4th GR.Grandmother & 4th Gr.Aunt. I found this file on a research site, asking for info on David & Samuel Lusk. I downloaded file to see if I could help, realizing I could, I e-mailed to give info, and it was returned.   Harrison Fugett (b) Nov. 5, 1892 in Rush, Boyd Co.,KY (d)Oct. 18, 1918 in France (was in the Military), buried in Family plot near Gauley Bridge, WV. Harrison is the son of Senia Anna (Lusk) Fugett(b)Jul 4, 1865 & James Fugett..... Senia was the Daughter of Harrison Lusk (b) Feb. 28, 1813)& Nancy Hall..... Harrison Lusk was the son of Samuel Lusk Jr. (b)1776 & Sarah Bailey...Samuel Lusk Jr. was the son of Samuel Lusk Sr.(b) 1751 & Susannah Stevenson ...... Harrison Fugett, would have been my 1st cousin twice removed. This photo was contributed by, Lionel "Tony" Speranza & his MOM. Tony has been very helpful with this line(Fugett's) of the family. I Thank him so very much.

  This was taken on Andrew Jackson Lusk Sr.& Loretta Smith Lusk's (My GreatGrandParents) 50th Wedding Anniversary. He has a look of really being into the celabration mode. He was highly respected by all of his 5 son's, ( maybe that look is just many years of dealing with 5 Lusk boys? I wonder what the earlier Lusk's looked like one family produced 12 children and another 10. My MOM said when they visited relatives in Kentucky, Ohio , Virginia & West Virginia, There seemed to be endless cousins, I guess we all know why now!!!

  Berthella is the youngest of the children of Samuel Parker Lusk & Hazel Blanche McNeey Lusk. This is her family she had 3 daughters. From left to right, Sue Ann Coons, Kim Lee Coons, My Aunt Bert, her youngest Tammy Coons and in front her husband, James Coons. When I was very young and Uncle Jim would grow a short beard now and then, I alwas thought he looked like Abe Lincoln.(What an imagination we have as children). The Coon's Family now reside in Brownsburg Indiana.

Upon viewing this photo on (12-24-1999) my Mom relayed this memory to me, She said that day we were on a Picnic in the mountains, (asking what mountains?) She said the Foothills of the Allegany Mountains of Pennsylvania. She said Daddy and Uncle John caught a rattlesnake that day and put it in a big pot, that her Mom had brought with a clamped lid on it, they took it home (live) and Daddy skinned it and removed the rattlers. She said she remembers seeing them around for a long time but has no idea where they are today.

Upon recently viewing this photo (12-24-1999), she relayed that, she was 15 or 16 at that time, and her Uncle Pete (Ulysess Simpson Lusk) had given her money for her birthday, and she bought that dress with it.
