1. THOMAS HENRY1 MORTIMER was born Unknown, and died 1890. He married MARY ELLEN KING February 03, 1876. She was born December 07, 1845 in Maidstone, Kent, England, and died January 30, 1929 in Alexandria, Clark Co., Missouri.

Mrs. Ellen Kellog, an old time resident of Alexandria, MO, passed away at home of her son, James Mortimer on Jan. 30 at 6: p.m., 1929, at the of 83 years. She was born at Upper Stone St., Maidstone Kent, England on Dec. 7, 1845.
She was married to John Dickson at the age of 18. He died on May 1, 1875. Four children were born to this union of which two preceded her death, one in infancy and one son, Arthur Dickson of Keokuk who died five years ago.
She was married to Thomas H. Mortimer on Feb. 3, 1876. Six children were born to this union, all living. Mr. Mortimer died in the year of 1890.
She then married Hirm Kellog in 1892. Mr. Kellog died in November, 1898.
She came to the U. S. A. in August, 1882 on the White Line ship Celtic, part by sail and part by steam. She journeyed to Alexandria, MO., in a covered wagon, landing in November, 1887, and has lived since. She was a member of the St. Phillips Church of England.
She was a loving and kind mother, a kind neighbor who will be greatly missed.
Her family did all that loving chlidren could do in her sickness.
She leaves to mourn her loss eight children, Edwin of Wayland, MO, James Mortimer, Mrs. Grace Russel, Mrs. Emma Arnold, Fuller Mortimer of Alexandria, MO., P. R. Dickson, Mrs. Susie Ealey of Keokuk, IA., and Mrs. Annie Burgess of McCook, Neb.. Also thirty eight grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren.
The date of funeral will be announced later.
