* The Henry Liveoak Butler Home Page*

Updated September 6, 2000

Henry was born in Uvalde, TX in 1876, the son of George Washington BUTLER and Caltha DALBY. He next appears in the 1900 census with his new wife, Cassie MCEVEN, and his now-widowed mother. His oldest son Elmer was born in Plymouth, Carroll County, MO, and his next two children were born in Collinsville, OK and Pittsburg, KS. He ran for sheriff of Nez Perce county, ID in 1910 and finished second. He worked as a trolley car conductor in Oakland from 1912 to 1918. He was probably in a logging camp in Cohasset, CA in 1920. Can anyone help me fill in some of the gaps in Henry's life?
