1. ANTHONY¹ COLBY died 2 11 1660/61 in Amesbury/Essex, MA (Source: Original Record Journal of Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1637-1694, viewed at Salisbury Town Hall 7/25/95.). He married SUSANNAH Aft 1630 in Cambridge, MA.

Notes
Anthony Colby was evidently an earnest, thouough going puritan. His name appears upon the record of the First Church, Boston, as No 93, beside that of Jared Haddon. The Church covenant which they signed was as follows:

"We promise to walk in all our ways according to the rule of the gospel, and in all sincere conformity to God's holy ordinances, and in mutual love and respect to each other, so near as He shall give us grace."
