THOMAS² COLBY (ANTHONY¹) was born 3 08 1650/51 in Salisbury/Essex, MA (Source: Original Record Journal of Births, Marriages and Deaths, 1637-1694, viewed at Salisbury Town Hall 7/25/95.), and died Bef 3 30 1691 in Amesbury/Essex, MA (Source: Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury; David W Hoyt; Providence, RI; 1897; pg. 106.). He married HANNAH ROWELL 9 16 1674 in Amesbury/Essex, MA (Source: Old Families of Salisbury and Amesbury; David W Hoyt; Providence, RI; 1897; pg. 106.), daughter of Valentine Rowell and Joanna Pindor.

Notes
Thomas Colby took the oath of allegiance and fidelity in December, 1677. The inventory of his estate was taken March 31, 1691 and the estate was divided in November, 1697.

Thomas was a Constable, and he probably worked in his father's sawmill on the Powwow River.
