I am a direct descendant of Thomas Graves of Hartford, CT and Hatfield, MA. This line has been documented in the book "Thomas Graves of Hartford, Ct/Hatfield, MA" by John Card Graves pulished in 1896 and recently updated by Kenneth V. Graves in 1985. David & Amelia Graves (20 KB) David & Amelia were my gg grandparents. They were married in 1829 in Vermont. He was the son of Calvn & Fanny Graves of Vermont. Amelia was the daughter of Moses Pearson, Jr and Hannah Converse. Robert B. & Marietta Graves (3 KB) Robert & Marietta were my great grandparents. They were married in 1875 in Illinois (she being his second wife). He was the son of David & Amelia Graves. She was the daughter of Alvin & Susan (Southworth) King of New York/Illinois. Robert K & Martha E. Graves (1 KB) Robert & Martha were my grandparents. They were married in 1906 in Iowa. He was the son of Robert & Marietta Graves. She was the daughter of Benjamin & Catherine Tuel of Iowa. They lived in Iowa for about 8 years then moved to Minnesota in 1914. Alvin J. & Susan A. King (78 KB) Parents of Marietta King. They were married in 1849 in New York. Alvin was the son of Allen King & Regina Thompson. Susan was the daughter of Epaphras Southworth and Hannah Reed.
