Aron J. Wiebe, born in Altanau, West Prussia in 1845 to Jacob and Anna Entz was my Great grandfather. After the repeal of the 1789 Minnoniten-Edict in 1868 his family moved to the Alm Trakt in the settlement village of Lysanderhoh, South Russia near Saratov where he married Marie Fieguth who bore him 12 children, several who died shortly after birth. Among them were Gerhard A.,Anna,Jacob A.,Johannes,Henry A.,Marie, and Herman. His wife Maria died of what they now say was cancer and Aron married his sister-in-law Johanna Bergmann who had been widowed. The Family came to the USA in 1896 to the Beatrice, Neberaska area before going on to California. There were many hardships as we look backwards on their lives but they but they were not quitters. This is the mental attitude our nation was built upon.

I am researching the names: Wiebe,Tiahrt,Fast,Fieguth,Entz or Ensz and Warkentine. Especially the family of Hienrich Wiebe born in Broakersfelde, W.P in abt. 1772.
