He married CHINA ANN STEWART November 23, 1868 in LDS Temple, Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah, daughter of WILLIAM STEWART and DELPHA JONES. She was born October 03, 1845 in Alfoma, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and died October 26, 1886 in Moab, Grand, Utah.

He applied to the Dept. of t h eInterior, Bureau of Pensions for a Pension for his Indian War service onthe 19th of Jul y , 1917, he received his Pension until his death on 25November 1922 at Provo, Utah.
