Notes for Ida Isobel Wilson: Obituary - The Record News, Smith Falls, Ontario, Canada Mrs. W.J. King Mrs. W.J. King of 24 Church Street East, passed away on Monday July 1, 1957, in her 59th year. The former Ida Isabel Wilson, she was born at R.R. & Perth, on March 15, 1899, the daughter of Willian N. Wilsonand the former Charlotte E. Thorton. Educated at Perth Collegiate, she was married on April 20, 1921, to William James King, who survives. She was a Member of the United Church. Left to mourn beside her husband, are her mother, Mrs. Charlotte E. Wilson, of Montreal; four sons, Wilson, of Windsor, Kenneth James, of Clevland, Ohio; James Allan, of Mansfield, Ohio; and John Edwin, of Edmonton, Alberta; two daughters, Mrs. J.D. Holbrook (Marjorie), of Smith Falls, and Mrs. S. Yonick (Isobel), of Grimsby, Ontario, one sister, Mrs. J. Wiseman (Charlotte), of Montreal, and six grandchildren. The funeral was held from the Amy Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 3,Rev. P> G. MacInnes. officiating. Interment was in Rideau Ferry Cemetery. The pallbearers were T.N. McLean, William McLean, Ross coutts, Jim Coutts, R. Anderson and G. Wills.

Marriage Notes for Ida Isobel Wilson and William James King: Perth Courier - April 29, 1921 King - Wilson - On April 20th, 1921, at 7 p.m. at the home of the brides parents, Mr. William James King, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter King, Oliver's Ferry, was united in marrage to Miss Ida Isobel Wilson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. N. Wilson, Bathurst by Rev. J.H. Miers. The bride ad groom were the recipients of many valuable presents. After a pleasant evening the bride and groom left for thier home in Rideau Ferry.
