    This is the lady that influenced Elizabeth Harris when she was growing up in Harpst Home for Children. Elizabeth followed this Methodist Missionary north to Buffalo when Gertrude was assigned to the new home for children. Aunt Gertie was a gentle kind woman and is remembered fondly.
