* The Greer - Walsh Family Connection*

Updated February 4, 2003

Welcome to my genealogy page. My family tree has been growing firmly in the northwestern North Carolina soil for over 250 years. My Scot ancestors felt they were close enough to home with the Blue Ridge Mountains that they stopped looking and settled down. Although several ancestors traveled on further, going over the mountains to Kentucky with Daniel Boone and others being the first white men to travel over land to the lower Mississippi, they returned to the Wilkes County, North Carolina area to live out their lives.
I am researching many families including Greer, Reeves, Eller, Jones, Baker, Parsons, Blackburn, Royal, Wyatt, Faw, Vannoy, Church, McNeil and others in my family and Walsh, Hamby, Triplett and others in my wife's family.

Please feel free to contact me by e-mail. Perhaps we can help each other climb our trees!
