IL, he and Rebecca had 7 Children: my g/gfather Benjamin Parker GREEN b:1822 d: 1890 (marr: Sarah GETTY b:1832 IRE, d:1900 in So. IL Francis Burdette GREEN's 6 other children: Isabella b: 1824 d: 1912; Mary "Polly" Ann b:1826 d:1895; James W. b: 1829 d: 1877; Robert b: abt 1830 d: abt 1863; Hugh Porter b: 1833 d: 1890; Margra Jane b: 1835 d: 1845
Francis Burdette GREEN my g/g/grandfather served War 1812 and again 1814 (Aug-Oct 1814) saw action fighting British & Indians in IL & Wisc.

Family (#2) Joseph ANDERSON (my g/g/g/g/gfather) served Revolutionary War in KY,IN & IL b:c1750 VA or SC. Served as Sgt. with Lt. Col. George Rogers CLARK and saw Revolutionary War combat in KY, IN and IL. Was participant in defeat of British Col HAMILTON and capture of Ft. Vincennes in Feb 25, 1779 in bold winter action against superior force. During this time and up to his death Joseph closest friends were James CURRY & David PAGAN.

Joseph ANDERSON b:?SC possibly Scotch/Irish d:1806 killed by Indians in IL. he m:c1770 in SC (possibly Abbeville Co.) to Mary (?surname unknown?) she was b:abt 1753 d:1810; They had 6 children: Catherine b:1771 d:1822; Mary b:1772 d: 1834 in IL; Marjorie b:1780 d:1831; Amos b:1783 d: 1854;Jane b:1794; Margaret b:1800
