Notes for Elenor: Maples Cemetery Record shows "Mrs. Elenor Green, wife of Charles, died 1757. Approximately 35 years old. " She is buried near Rebekah Cahoon Green, mother of Charles. It has been assumed by previous historians of the late 1800s that Charles was married to a Mary ?.....however, this cemetery record strongly suggests that Mary was actually the second wife to Charles, and therefore Elenor was mother to Job, born 1751. |
