We are involved in an ongoing process of trying to trace our families history. We are looking for information on the following surnames. Greenwood, Hubbard, Gilbreath, Dittmer, Gaines, Chumley, Graves, Brand and May(Mai)for starters.The Greenwood's went from Ala to Ark and finally to Okla. My husbands family are from Springfield Mo.The Hubbards apparently went from Va to SC to Ala and Miss. My family is from Collinsville, DeKalb Co. Alabama. The Gilbreath, Gaines, Chumley and Graves ancestors were in Alabama.The Dittmer and Brand ancestors were in Ill around Chicago.Any information on any of these lines would be most helpful. We do have a direct ancestor file on our family home page. We have added census, marriage and cemetery records that apply to our ancestors on our family home page. |
