| Am researching the families Gregory, Robinson, Williams, Shaver, Steel, Fisher, Dean, and Gibson. Most are from WV, counties of Nicholas, Webster, Braxton, Lewis, and Wyoming. My grandfather Richard Eppe ROBINSON was found in the 1880 Census in Wyoming Co, WV. He married a STEEL and her mother, born in NC, a widow, lived with them at Census time. Death dates, burial sites, marriage dates, for Richard Epp Robinson and wife Adaline Steel are needed badly. Death probably in Nicholas or Braxton County, marriage probably in NC. My husband's father, Walter Martin Gregory, son of James Vincent Gregory, son of Asa Brooks Gregory. Walter's mother was Mary Lee Dean,daughter of Newton Dean. Need info on her. My g-mother was a Shaver, daughter of Benjamin A. and Rebecca Jane Dodrill. Need Shaver info. Have William Leonard Fisher m. Margaret Bankhead, need info on them. Have been doing research for several years now. Very interesting hobby! I am now retired from teaching school, write a news column for Weston Democrat in Lewis County, WV and volunteer at HCPD Genealory Library in Lewis County, WV.
