Notes for IVAR ANDREAS GULBRANDSEN:
Ivar was thought to be spelled Iver. The Vardal 1865 census listed his name as Ivar born 1814, living with his wife Lisabet Elertsdatter, son Gulbrand Ivarsen, and Maria (we have Mari) Ivarsdatter, along with Ludvig (uncle Louie) Larsen the grandson of Lisabet.

In the same household Ludvig Larsen, grandson of Lisabet born in 1864 was also listed as living with the family. When the family came to America they changed their last name to Johnson.
