Etta Reast
Funeral services for Etta Mae Reast, 85 of Whitesboro were held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 8 at Huff Chapel in Whitesboro. She died Thursday, Jan. 6, 1983 at the Sherman Nursing Center.
The Rev. Harold Johnson of Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church conducted the services.
Burial was at Dixie Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home, Whitesboro. The family was at the funeral home from 7 to 8 P.M. Friday
Mrs. Reast was born Feb. 17, 1897 in Grayson County, the daughter of John Goldston and Martha Phelps Goldston. She married Howard Reast on Nov, 17, 1915, in Grayson County.
She was a housewife and a lifetime member of the Sandy Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include; two sons; Kenneth Reast of Sherman and James Reast of Littlefield; three daughters, Mozelle Bell and Alma Moore, both of Sherman and Willene Weir of Richardson; a sister, Cleo Moran of Gordonville;10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons; Mike Weir, Bobby Mills, Ed Mills, Gary Moore, Al Weir, and Lee Weir.
The family was at the funeral home from 7 to 8 P.M. Friday.
