Mamie and Mat were daughters of William Leonard Sooter Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Russell Sooter Sherwood.
Mary Jane "Mamie" Sooter Sherwood (married John Wesley Sherwood=son of David Olney Sherwood and Priscilla DeButts) , and her Sister Martha Ann "Matt" Sooter Sherwood (Married Willis Oliver Cromwell Sherwood=son of Hugh Sherwood (Hugh=brother of David Olney Sherwood) and Mary E Sands). Baby Gertrude is Ida Sherwood Wilson's child, died shortly after picture was taken. Ida is John Wesley and Mary Jane's daughter.
