Duff Green (b. Abt. 1724, d. May 1766)

Duff Green (son of Robert Duff Green and Eleanor Dunn) was born Abt. 1724, and died May 1766 in Fauquier Co., VA. He married (1) Miss Thomas. He married (2) Ann Willis on Abt. 1750.

Listed in Fauquier Co., VA, Minute Book 1-1 in 1759 as first commission of peace; 1761 Churchwarden; 1764 survey road; MB 3-170, May 1766, William Green and John granted administration of estate. WB2-33, 1784, estate account by Col. John Green mentions William Green, John Green, Jr, and Mrs. Ann Green (Alcock, Fauquier Families, 1994).

Duff Green died in Fauquier in 1766; his children by Anne Willis, his second wife, were Willis, Henry, William, and Eleanor, all of whom subsequently removed to Kentucky, followed by their mother.
